Things to do in Poses and around it
The farm is the starting point for many walks and bike rides, and we offer two 4-seater Rosalies for families to go and have fun on the Chemin de Halage along the Seine, which is a portion of the greenway of the “Seine by Bike” project. Just behind the farm, the Place de la République hosts picnic areas along the Seine, sometimes concerts and the July 14 festival, with its parade of illuminated boats and the famous Poses fireworks. In front of it: the dam, its lock and a start of a hike to the nearby mythical Côte des Deux Amants. The most courageous can continue to reach the William the Conqueror's Château Gaillard in Les Andelys. Finally, the Lery-Poses nautical base is a 5-minute walk away and welcomes you to its lakeside beaches. Then, for enthusiasts, the pretty Poses golf course, between the Seine and the lake, is a golfer's corner of paradise. Without forgetting the Vaudreuil golf course, 7 km away. For children, the BIOTROPICA animal gardens: a zoo like no other. Tropical greenhouse of 5000m² and an outdoor park of 10 hectares... Also, for bird watchers, the Grande Noé ornithological reserve is accessible by bike via the greenway. Here, nature and water surround you.
